The United Auto Workers (UAW) strike against Detroit’s Big Three automakers has ended after 46 days. UAW union officials reached tentative agreements with all three companies, including General Motors, Ford, and Stellantis. The tentative agreements still need to be approved by members at all three companies.

According to a Gallup poll, public approval of unions has slid to 67%, down from the 71% last year. Young people in particular are leading the charge for less individual recognitions and achievements.
