What is Walgreens Planning in RTW Hanover County, Virginia?

Walgreens is adding a new facility soon in Right to Work Hanover County, Virginia. This will serve as a micro-fulfillment center. In order to do this, they are investing a total of $34.2 million toward the expansion. In addition, they also plan to create 249 new jobs. So that’s something worth celebrating!

From Area Development Magazine:

“Fulfillment centers like this one in Virginia are dedicated to fulfilling retail prescription orders and play an important role in our effort to create the pharmacy of the future, one that further enables our store pharmacy teams to spend more of their time providing front-line patient care. […] The greater Richmond area was selected due to its favorable business climate, able workforce, and premier location.†[…]
