Gilead Sciences Inc will soon be locating its main information technology hub in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. This is a perfect fit because the area provides the right resources for a biopharmaceutical company such as this one. After all, it has the latest technology available nearby in the universities, as well as experienced scientists.
In order to cover the cost of the new location, the company is investing $5 million. This investment also expects to have an economic impact of $1.1 billion on the area. In addition, they plan to create up to 275 new jobs. So the addition of Gilead Sciences Inc is a great economic opportunity for Wake County.
