Right to Work Virginia Economic Update

Performance Food Group Company is adding a new sales and distribution center soon in Right to Work Ashland, Virginia. In order to make this possible, they are investing a total of $80.2 million toward the project. In addition, they also plan to create 125 new jobs. So this is exciting news for Hanover County!

“We are proud that [they are] establishing a regional sales and distribution center operation in Hanover County, creating 125 new jobs. […] The company’s decision demonstrates its continuing commitment to Virginia and strengthens the Commonwealth’s position as a logistics leader on the East Coast.†[…]

“Performance Food Group had a choice in where to locate. We thank the company for choosing Hanover County. […] This announcement is a prime example of the importance in the investment of site development at the local level in conjunction with the Virginia Business Ready Sites Program. The project would not have been possible without the zoning in place and Tier 4 designation provided by the Virginia Economic Development Partnership.â€
