Grön Fuels Plans to Initially Invest $1.25 Billion in Right to Work Louisiana

Grön Fuels is looking at Greater Baton Rouge, Louisiana as a good place for locating a new renewable fuel complex. However, things are still up in the air right now as to what the official plan will be. But, the company is considering an initial investment of $1.25 billion and to create 340 new jobs.

Grön Fuels also wants to expand in phases and potentially invest up to $9.2 billion over the next decade. Their intention is to have a concrete plan for Phase 1 by 2021. There is also talk of this facility developing into one of the biggest renewable fuel facilities in the world. So this will be a huge win for Louisiana’s economy.
