TEKLAS is a Turkey-based company that specialized in manufacturing parts for electric vehicles. They have locations spread out all across the world. Now, they plan to invest $6.5 million toward their first US location, which will cover a 200,000-square-foot facility. In order to receive the most benefits, they have chosen Calhoun, Georgia for their main headquarters in America. In addition, they also plan to create 120 new jobs as well. So this is a big win for the company, as well as the state’s economy.
